28 November 2009RimSAR called out to search for lost 8 year old girl in Running Springs. The girl was found with her father an hour later.
RimSAR searched along 3N16 for stranded motorist in a ravine. RimSAR members put chains on their truck and escorted them out of the Green Valley Lake area.
25 October 2009RimSAR successfully passes their rope re-certification. To maintain rope rescue status, teams must pass a certification every two years. The certification process is comprehensive, and includes a gear check as well as a rescue scenario.
27 September 2009RimSAR rescues a 67-year-old experienced hiker who was reported missing on the Pacific Coast Trail.
September 2007RimSAR becomes the fifth Search and Rescue team in San Bernardino County to become a technical rope rescue unit.
